Gender

The Centre for Development Policy and Practice works on the broader issues of inclusion and development. However, development must incorporate the aspect of gender. CDPP looks to explore gender and development issues such as health, education, governance and economic empowerment. Gender equality and women’s empowerment are not only the end goals of development but also the fundamental step towards achieving overall development outcomes. Contemporary challenges along with newer concerns increase the vulnerability of women by several manifolds, and the need for the increasing relevance of an intersectional perspective.
