Creating Institutional Excellence in India’s Secondary, Higher Secondary, and Tertiary Education: A Case Study of MS Education Academy
Rashad Ullah Khan

This study investigates the role of MS Education Academy, Hyderabad, in promoting institutional excellence across secondary, higher secondary, and tertiary education in India. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study integrates quantitative data on enrolment trends, public and private expenditure, and institutional finances with qualitative insights drawn from surveys and interviews conducted among students and faculty at MS Education Academy branches. The findings reveal that the MS Education Academy demonstrates considerable strengths in teaching quality, infrastructural adequacy, and the integration of Islamic values in the curriculum. Students report high levels of satisfaction with faculty support and pedagogical practices. However, the research identifies critical gaps in extracurricular engagement, placement readiness, administrative efficiency in fee collection, and hygiene maintenance in certain campuses. The financial analysis shows a substantial gap between ideal and actual fee recovery due to widespread fee concessions, raising sustainability concerns. The recommendations emphasize the need for a formalized concession policy, greater investment in faculty development, and improved administrative processes. The report positions MS Education Academy as a potential model for bridging the divide between quality and affordability in Indian private education.
