Childhood Speaks Out!—The Bazm-e-Sukhan

11 November 2026 Events

Bazm-e-Sukhan, the cultural initiative of the Centre for Development Policy and Practice (CDPP), presents “Childhood Speaks Out!”—a unique, multilingual, dramatic mushaira featuring children as they express their dreams, questions, feelings, and aspirations through poetry.

Bringing together Urdu, Hindi, English, and Telugu, this special recital places children’s voices at the centre of the conversation. Through their own words, young poets will reflect on childhood, identity, imagination, and children’s rights—offering a glimpse into how they see and experience the world.

Join us for an evening of poetry, expression, and dialogue, celebrating the power of children’s voices and the many languages through which they speak.
