The Centre for Development Policy and Practice, in collaboration with the Digital Empowerment Foundation, is proud to present another captivating edition of Bazm-e-Sukhan.

Join us on Tuesday, 13th November 2024 at Lamakaan, Hyderabad for an enriching evening celebrating the timeless poetry of Allama Iqbal. The event will feature:

Prof. Ashraf Rafi delivering a lecture on Iqbal ke Taareekhi aur Tahzeebi Tasawwuraat (Iqbal’s Historical and Cultural Visions).
Mohammed Zaheer Uddin offering an insightful explanation of selected couplets from Iqbal’s poetry and Nazm.
A special performance of Shikwa and Jawab-e-Shikwa by Dr. Jaweed Kamaal and Lateef Uddin Lateef.
A poetic recital by Daniele Speziale Raahi Itaalvi, who will share some of his own Urdu ghazals.
