Call for Submissions
The Centre for Development Policy and Practice (CDPP) welcomes article submissions from undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), PhD scholars, and working professionals that explore topics related to development and policy issues. We invite contributors from all academic levels to share their perspectives and insights on the issues that matter most to the community, including but not limited to health equity, gender justice, human rights, and sustainable development goals.
July – August 2025 Topic: Gender Diversity and Inclusion in the Tech Industry
Despite their growing presence, women and gender minorities continue to face systemic barriers in the technology sector. From coding and product design to leadership and policy-making, their contributions remain underrepresented and undervalued. Structural inequalities, workplace bias, and digital exclusion hinder their full participation and advancement. This call for submission invites critical explorations into the socio-economic, technological, and institutional dimensions that shape gendered experiences within the tech industry, particularly across the Global South.
Submission Deadline: 30 June 2025
